THE BEGINNING OF A BRAND NEW YEAR ~~ 2010

THE BEGINNING OF A BRAND NEW YEAR ~~ 2010

POLITICALLY OR BIBLICALLY CORRECT?

Let me ask you ~~ Are you willing to make tough decisions for the sake and glory of God? We should daily sing and live the song of faith and courage that says, "Dare to be a Daniel, dare to stand alone." Many Christians live for convenience, not Christ. And, if those Christians were honest with themselves and God they would have to admit, "I follow the crowd not Christ." They would also have to admit that they seldom ask what God's will is, or what His word says, but rather ask questions like; "Will this win approval from my peers? Will I benefit from this decision? Will I have to sacrifice anything? What can I do in this matter to receive the least amount of criticism? What is the route of least resistance? Which way is the political wind blowing?"
I earnestly pray you will never ask those questions as you seek to make decisions for Christ's sake. But rather, you will be willing to live your faith consistently based upon God's Word, and when called upon will correctly make tough decisions that bring glory and honor to our Lord. ~~ R.G.

NO MATTER WHAT COMES

Lord You're worthy to be praised ~~ Yes you are
As for me and my house ~~We will serve the Lord
Oh Yes
As for me and my house ~~We will serve the Lord
We have counted the cost
We have made a choice
We will follow our God
And obey his Voice
From this day and for the rest of our lives
We will serve the Lord
We will not bow to another God
We will have no other gods but You
We will not serve two masters
We surrender our lives to you
We surrender our lives to you
We will serve the Lord
We will serve the Lord

Wake up call for us all!

Good morning; and isn't it good to be loved by Our God?
Blessings to you and may He shine all glory on you this morning!

~~~~~~
Last night I watched television with my husband and I almost left the room a couple times because some stuff is almost too much to hear; but, we must stay tuned in and aware about what is happening all around us and happening very quickly.
Nothing is new.....it has all been happening for probably more than a hundred years; but, we are coming to the wind up; and the spring is ready to snap!
After a dose of the news.....FOX; by the way is the only news we watch and listen to....then Hannity, then we watched and listened to The Conspiracy. It was a drop open the mouth time and some what un-real. I would lean towards someone having to many drugs and having their brain cells fried if not for footage that showed things happening and the people had their faces seen. Faces that most of us know and have seen many times. Clintons for some and obama was there too.
Plans to depopulate from the over 7 million people down to 5 million. A real Holocaust and done through the foods and meds that we take. One being that H1N1 nasal and vaccine garbage.
Not only are we to be affected and taken out this way...."THE CULLING PROCESS"; but also through poisons in the foods. They will take the lives of us that are already weakened in the immune systems; and the plan is to add ingredients that will sterilize. Crop dusting, lab made illnesses...and the list just went on...
Have you shook your head yet; or perhaps are saying..."OH MY GOD!"? I did both last night. Then I prayed and asked God to intervene once again for all that is happening.
Whether we believe it in ourselves or not, the evidence is seen and also are the signs all showing.
I sometimes feel like we are in a room with a really horrifying movie on and the television won't turn off.
The truth of the matter is~~~~it is happening; it is not a movie; it is not a dream.....it is reality and one that we better be ready for.
The good news?
Jesus loves us and as our God He promises that He will never give us more than we can handle. I believe Him and I more than trust Him. He never promised that we would never have to go through trials and some tribulation; but, He does promise that we will not go through the GREAT TRIBULATION.
Folks, it is time for us to receive the wake up call and draw ever near to Our Savior. Without Him how will we ever make it through?
This coming New Year I will be concentrating on them that want to walk close to The Lord. Them that have a real desire to make Heaven their home and Jesus their Lord, them that have a real desire to know Him. There is no more time to keep trying to convince true heathens. They do not want to serve Him and they only want to try and undo what God has done in others lives. They are cold and among the walking dead. There are so many lost that are seeking and I want to be real to them. To lead them to the Fountain of God; leave them at His feet and look for others that are thirsty and hungry. I pray that God leads me and gives me all the courage and things needed to go out and do the work that is set before me. Will you deny your selves and follow His lead also? We are needed now and the cry of the lost and dying world is waiting.
To Him be all the glory for the things that happen according to His way. In Jesus name!
WE ARE HERE ~~ YOU MUST LIVE AND DIE BY YOUR DECISIONS
You must live and die by your tough decisions. I say NO to this man and his administration. These things are taking place right here in America; and prayer, hope, and life are in Jesus.....PERIOD!
You make tough decisions and live and die by them.
Harlan Popov had decided to live for Jesus in communist Bulgaria, but he never expected what was to follow. Because he was a pastor, Popov was arrested and thrown into prison. Over the next thirteen years he was constantly tortured. Why? Because he made the decision to stand up for Jesus instead of bowing down to government demands to renounce his faith. In this book, Tortured for His Faith,
Harlan Popov describes his initial decision to faithfully serve Jesus in communist Bulgaria like this:
"In June of 1948, all the members of the Supreme Council including the chief religious representative were called to the office of the Minister of Religious Affairs. Our moment of truth had come, and within days there would be no mistaking. "Gentlemen, today in the National Peoples' Republic of Bulgaria, there are no two ways about it but only one: You are either for the Soviet Union or you are for the United States." He then made it very clear what it means to be with the Communist party and to be loyal to its aims.
Then came the crunch. He wanted each of us, in each of the churches, to make a statement from the pulpits-declaring our loyalty to the Bulgarian Communist party, the Bulgarian government, and the objectives of the Communist world-and to accuse the United States as imperialist and of interfering in the affairs of Bulgaria.
We considered this a very brutal interference into the lives of the churches. We told the minister of religious affairs in clear terms that we as churchmen in our churches are not a political people. After we discussed the proposition, we told him that rather than do this we would close our churches. "we cannot do this," we insisted.
He replied, "Don't talk to me like that. I can take that telephone and have you arrested right this minute!"
He didn't pick up the telephone and make good his threats. Instead, he gave us a week to think it over. But our minds were set, and the week's Communist grace was only a matter of form. We returned and repeated our stand. Our character and conviction as Christians could not permit any other position.
This, of course, in the situation of the day, was counted as betrayal of Bulgaria-not only betrayal, but as we soon were to find out, collaboration with the United States. There was no way out for us but to be loyal to Jesus Christ within us. And this we were determined to do. The Communists were just as determined to do us and our churches in.
That, then, is the setting. That is how we, and many like us, went to prison. That is why many more in the Suffering Church still go to prison.
Harlan Popov decided to live for Jesus, and to die for Jesus if necessary.
making tough decisions and standing firm
Tough decisions are often misunderstood by some people.
You make tough decisions which many times are misunderstood by some people. The decisions you make based on your Christian convictions and beliefs will be misunderstood by some people and you will wonder, "Why?" In Luke 9: 51-53 we see how some people did not understand Jesus' decision to go to Jerusalem, therefore they did not receive Him.
You need to know that whenever you "set your face" to do the right thing based on the perfect and directive will of God, people, some people, will not receive you. They will turn away from you as though you had a diseased body. You may have to stand alone with some of your decisions. But stand you must. During the ministry of Jesus we find that some religious leaders thought He was filled with Beelzebul. For them the problem was that Jesus had decided the "right thing to do" was to heal people on the Sabbath. They could not understand how a man who claimed to be the Son of God could break the laws of God. However, Jesus had come not to break the law, but to fulfill the law.
Jesus was misunderstood.
Even the disciples thought Jesus was misguided when He made the decision to go to Jerusalem. In Jerusalem a "death threat" had been voiced by those in authority. The disciples closest to Jesus didn't understand Him at times.
In Mark 6:1-4 we read where Jesus taught in the synagogue and performed miracles. The people in this passage did not understand that His teachings were from God and His miracles were the acts of God.
Young person, when you make the decision to remain sexually pure, you will be misunderstood by some people. Business person, when you make the decision to be completely honest in all your business dealings, you will be misunderstood by some people. Working person, when you make the decision to be pure in heart and character on the job, you will be misunderstood by some people. When you make decisions in life based on Christian principles, precepts, and biblical truth you will be misunderstood by some people.
Make the "tough decisions" anyway, and those decisions will ultimately bring glory and honor to God.
Choose ~~ this is the day to choose who you will serve
Choose You This Day Whom You Will Serve
Among the many famous verses in Scripture is one that is found in Joshua 24:15, “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Note: When the King James Bible has LORD in all capital letters, it signifies that the Hebrew word here was the proper name of God, YHVH, often written as Yahweh. When it has Lord, with both upper and lower case, it is often the Hebrew word Adonai, a title that means “master” or “sovereign”.)
Do you really serve the LORD?
Is he truly the God of your life?
So is God really God in your life? Or do you put your own pleasure, or church tradition, or convenience, or reputation, or security, or following the crowd above the word of the God that you claim to follow?
Was it an easy choice? Yes. Having come out of many years of pain, abuse, playing church on Sundays and holidays ~~ and many other types of deception, I readily chose to serve God over mammon with never looking back. God has provided in ways I would have never dreamed. All I can ever give Him is ME; and He deserves more than I can ever give to Him. His ways are not our ways and are always higher than ours. Was it an easy choice? Not always, but it is getting easier as the years go by. I don't hear the words of ridicule and name calling such as " righteous one"; because I aim to remain; "right" The times that I have went where I had doubted being, I was miserable. I knew I was putting myself above the one I claim to call LORD of my life. Today I gladly refuse and deny myself of such worldly "FUN." It feels good and it feels right ~~~What a victory! What a FELLOWSHIP to have!
Every day is one step closer and easier as I walk with MY SAVIOR.
Satan will do all in his power to tempt you, to keep you from following the straight path and the truth that has been revealed. To some it is just easier to turn your back on truth because the truth can sometimes make you feel alone and will complicate your life. But to do so, you are really turning your back on God.
Change it around! Make it a day for Jesus.
What sacrifices are you making for Jesus, for your trip home, for your faith? Are you following the example set forth by Jesus, Believers? He tells us in {{Matthew 7:21-23}} that not everyone who calls him Lord, and who has prophesied and done wonderful works in His name, will enter the kingdom. Instead, He will tell them, “Depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” {{Mark 7:6 & Isaiah 29:13}}, “These people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.” Matthew 7:13-14, “…Wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction ,and many there be which go in there at. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Choose this day whom you will serve, as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
