The Rose of Sharon is referred to in the Bible in King Solomon’s Song of Songs
I am the rose of Sharon,
and the lily of the valleys.
As the lily among thorns,
so is my love among the daughters.
As the apple tree among the trees of the wood,
so is my beloved among the sons.
The flower's symbolic significance stems from the Korean word mugung, meaning immortality.
In the book of Revelation, we are referred to as Aires of the King.
One of the names of Jesus is ‘the Rose of Sharon’.
When Jesus makes His home in a pure heart,
soon Living Water will flow out from it.
Jesus, Rose of Sharon, bloom within my heart;
Beauties of Thy truth and holiness impart,
That where’er I go my life may shed abroad
Fragrance of the knowledge of the love of God.
Jesus, blessèd Jesus, Rose of Sharon,
Bloom in radiance
And in love within my heart.
Jesus, Rose of Sharon, sweeter far to see
Than the fairest flowers of earth could ever be,
Fill my life completely, adding more each day
Of Thy grace divine and purity, I pray.
Jesus, Rose of Sharon, balm for every ill,
May Thy tender mercy’s healing power distil
For afflicted souls of weary burdened men,
Giving needy mortals health and hope again.

POLITICALLY OR BIBLICALLY CORRECT?
Let me ask you ~~ Are you willing to make tough decisions for the sake and glory of God? We should daily sing and live the song of faith and courage that says, "Dare to be a Daniel, dare to stand alone." Many Christians live for convenience, not Christ. And, if those Christians were honest with themselves and God they would have to admit, "I follow the crowd not Christ." They would also have to admit that they seldom ask what God's will is, or what His word says, but rather ask questions like; "Will this win approval from my peers? Will I benefit from this decision? Will I have to sacrifice anything? What can I do in this matter to receive the least amount of criticism? What is the route of least resistance? Which way is the political wind blowing?"
I earnestly pray you will never ask those questions as you seek to make decisions for Christ's sake. But rather, you will be willing to live your faith consistently based upon God's Word, and when called upon will correctly make tough decisions that bring glory and honor to our Lord. ~~ R.G.

DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU WILL BE?
The Bible teaches that those who are saved, having embraced the blood of Jesus on the cross (11 Peter 1:18-19), will at death go to be with Christ, in a state of conscious bliss; and are immediately in fellowship with Christ.
The Apostle Paul declared that “to be absent from the body” is to be “present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8). And later, he says that to die, is “to depart and be with Christ, which is far better’ (Philippians 1:23).
We can KNOW that we will be there because He has told us so...Praise HIM!
So if this is where...we...the Believers will go; then there is no where else for the un-believers except....hell....for ever.
Isn't there someone that we should be holding up to the Lord and making sure that we have done all that we can to see them make it to Jesus?
Do I know for sure that I will see Jesus? Yes! There is NO ONE and NOTHING that can ever seperate me from the hand of my Lord and Savior. That is our promise and I claim that for me and mine. In Jesus name!

John 8:23: And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I AM from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 8:12: Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I AM the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."
John 10:9: "I AM the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture."
John 10:11: "I AM the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
John 10:36: "do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'?
John 11:25: Jesus said to her, "I AM the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
John 14:6: Jesus said to him, "I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 15:1: "I AM the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
John 19:2: Therefore the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, "Do not write, 'The King of the Jews,' but, 'He said, "I am the King of the Jews."'"
Acts 7:32: Stephen speaking of Moses' encounter at the burning bush "saying, 'I am the God of your fathers-- the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' And Moses trembled and dared not look."
Acts 9:5: And he said, "Who are You, Lord?" And the Lord said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads."
The I Am In the Old Testament was whatever man needed. He became, he was his all in all. Jesus in the New Testament uses all the examples to show who He is. He is everything to man and the only way to God.
The most important of all the statements is in John 8:24 after he tells them I am not of this world."Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am [He], you will die in your sins."
He is communicating to them he is the same I AM that Moses met at the burning bush which commissioned him.

ONE CANDLE IN A DARK WORLD CAN BREAK THE DARKNESS
The Light in this world
The light which the world tried to extinguish cannot be put out. Today I light the candle within my heart again, proclaiming, and claiming the victory over our soul's enemy and accept the transforming power of God. As the light returns, I give thanks for the unchanging God who is love, and a God of a then, a now and will forever be.
Let us celebrate in this NEW YEAR that is coming with new life, new joy, new possibilities, and so many new opportunities. Jesus is alive and living in the hearts and lives of His people!
though there is pain and suffering; and many trials and storms in the world, we place our trust in God and in the way shown to us through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In the midst of stormy weather and a world that is of darkness, there is; Jesus...our HOPE and light. In barreness of this world's offers there is life through Him.
What appears to us to be overwhelming and even unbelievable circumstances, God is at work in us; in all areas that concern us; He has not abandoned us....He is always working for justice and peace, compassion and love, and life abundant.
We are heirs to the Kingdom and He is our loving God and Father.
He is royalty and that makes us the same.
I am His daughter and princess and He is my King.

The Husband And The Wife Marriage Relationship Is To Be Like The Relationship Jesus Christ Has To The Church
[Eph 5:22] Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
[Eph 5:23] For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
[Eph 5:24] Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

[Eph 5:26] That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
